Service Description

Abhyanga is a full body Ayurvedic technique that uses warm oil to promote overall health and well-being. It involves applying herb infused oil on the body from head to toe, followed by light pressure strokes that encourage flushing of the lymphatic system. Specific oil is customized to help balance the doshas and alleviate dis-ease in the body. This is not a massage, this is a lymphatic system treatment. The session includes an herbal foot soak with essential oil of your choice; chakra tuning and grounding; a 1 hour warm oil session, followed by a steamed towel. Tea will be served with the option to process anything that may have come up during the session. Traditionally in Ayurveda abhyanga oil is applied to the entire body, including: head, face, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, breasts, abdomen, legs and feet. Private areas of the pelvis will not be touched or exposed. Please inform me ahead of time if you would like any of previously mentioned areas avoided during treatment. Cancellation Policy

To secure your requested appointment time slot a deposit is paid when a session is booked. This deposit is non-refundable, regardless of when a session is cancelled. Honored appointments will have their booking deposit applied to their session balance.
